Massage guns are loud, two-handed, and only work on the part of you that your arm can reach.
What it is
The DriveOn PulseLoop is a wearable vibration massager — a rounded loop you can hold in one hand by the open grip, or strap in place and forget about. One face carries a row of raised massage nodes; the top has a small digital display and a single control button. It runs nine vibration modes: six steady intensities and three rhythmic patterns. Charges over USB. Comes in Gray or Pink.
How it works
Hold it, or wear it
The loop is the whole design idea. The open centre gives you somewhere to put your hand, so you can press the node face into a shoulder or a calf without a fistful of vibrating plastic fighting you. Then, when your arms are the tired part, the included strap threads through the same loop and holds the unit against your lower back, your waist, your thigh or your calf — and now it is working while you are doing something else.
The nine modes are how you dose it. The six steady levels run from a light hum up to a firm, deep buzz. The three rhythmic patterns pulse instead of holding, which is the setting most people end up preferring on the lower back at the end of a long day. One button cycles through, the display tells you where you are.
How to use it
2-3 hours, once. Charge it over USB before the first use.
10 seconds. Press the button on, then cycle to a level that feels firm but not sharp. Start at the low end — the top of the range is more than most people want on a first session.
10-15 minutes. Hold it against the spot, or thread the strap through the loop and wear it. Move on before an area goes numb, and give it a rest day if you have gone hard on somewhere new.
What is included
One PulseLoop massager, in Gray or Pink
One adjustable hook-and-loop strap for hands-free wear
USB charging cable
Who this is NOT for
Vibration is not for everyone and it is not for every problem. Keep it away from anything acute — a fresh injury, a swollen joint, a suspected fracture, a strain from this morning. Do not use it over broken skin, varicose veins, or anywhere you have reduced sensation, because you cannot dose what you cannot feel. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, a clotting disorder, or you are under care for a spine condition, ask your clinician first. And if you want the hammering percussion of a professional-grade massage gun, this is a different thing — it hums and pulses rather than punches.
Common Questions
How is this different from a massage gun?
A gun percusses and needs a hand on it the whole time. The PulseLoop vibrates, and the strap means it can stay on your lower back for fifteen minutes while you sit. Quieter, less intense, and it works on the parts of your back your arm cannot get to.
Can I wear it under clothing?
Yes — most people strap it at the waist over a t-shirt or under a hoodie. Thicker layers soften the vibration, which some people prefer on a sensitive area.
Which mode should I start on?
The lowest steady level, for the first few sessions, wherever you are using it. The rhythmic patterns tend to feel better on the lower back and the steady levels on calves and shoulders, but that is personal — cycle through and find yours.
How long should one session be?
Ten to fifteen minutes on one area is plenty. If the skin goes numb or red, you have gone too long or too high; move to another spot.
Is Gray or Pink different in any way?
Only the colour of the unit. Same modes, same strap, same price.
