Red light sessions only work if you actually sit through them. Most people don't.

What it is

A round red light panel with a dual-wavelength LED array, supplied with both a fold-out stand and a hanging cable. Stood on a desk it faces you while you work; hung from above it covers a larger area while you stretch, read or sit on the floor. One unit, mains powered, nothing to strap on.

How it works

Red and near-infrared light is absorbed at different depths in the skin and tissue below, which is why the panel runs two wavelengths rather than one. The dose depends on three things: intensity, distance and time. Move closer and sessions get shorter; move further away and the panel covers more of you but each spot gets less.

Which brings up the part most brands skip. The limiting factor on a panel is not the hardware, it is whether the session happens. That is why this one ships with two mounting options: the stand puts it in front of you at a desk, where a session costs you nothing but the time you were already sitting there, and the hanging cable turns it into overhead light for floor work. A panel in a cupboard delivers zero.

How to use it

  1. Set it up once — 5 minutes. Either clip the stand on for desk use or hang it from the cable at the height you want.
  2. Run a session while you do something else — 10 to 20 minutes. Sit at a comfortable distance with the target area facing the panel. Do not stare into the LEDs.
  3. Repeat most days — several weeks. Consistency is what makes any light protocol worth owning. A heavy session once a fortnight is not the same thing.

What's included

  • One DriveOn round red light panel with dual-wavelength LED array.
  • Fold-out desk stand.
  • Hanging cable for overhead use.

Who this is NOT for

It is a wellness device, not a medical one, and we make no claim that it treats any condition — be sceptical of anyone who does. If you want targeted contact dosing on a curved area like the midsection, a wrap-around belt delivers more of its output than a flat panel can, so buy that instead. Do not look directly into the LEDs; use the supplied stand or cable rather than propping it on a stack of books. And if you are photosensitive, pregnant, taking a medication that increases light sensitivity, or being treated for a skin condition, ask your doctor before starting.

Common Questions

Panel or belt — which should I get?

A panel is for larger areas at a distance: face, chest, back, legs while you sit. A belt is for one curved area in direct contact. On a curved midsection the belt wins, because a flat panel loses output to the air gap. For general use in front of a desk, the panel is the more flexible tool.

How far away should I sit?

Close enough that the light comfortably covers the area you are aiming at, far enough that it is not warm on the skin. Closer means shorter sessions; further means longer ones for the same area.

Do I need eye protection?

Do not look directly into the LEDs. Keep your eyes closed or turned away if the panel is aimed at your face, the same way you would with any bright light source.

Can I hang it and use it lying down?

Yes — that is what the cable is for. Hung overhead it works for floor stretching, yoga or simply lying underneath it, and it covers more area than it does perched on a desk.

How often should I use it?

Short sessions most days beat long sessions occasionally. Attach it to something you already do daily — a work block, a stretch routine — and it will still be in use in month three.

The DriveOn Standard

Every product on this store had to pass the same evaluation before it earned a page: we test the mechanism, check the claims against real use, and drop anything that doesn't hold up. If it's here, it passed.

  • Returns: 30 days from delivery, in original condition and packaging. Email us and we'll send the label.

Works best with

  • ContactDose 360 Red Light Belt — the contact version, for the midsection where a flat panel loses its dose to the air gap.
  • GlowMate Pro — the handheld facial device, for detail work the panel is too broad for.
