It's 11:40pm, you're still on a screen, and you'll be wide awake at 1.
Two lens tints, because day screens and night screens are different problems.
Most blue light glasses are a single faint tint that does a bit of everything and not much of anything. These come in two: an orange lens for daytime screen hours, and a deep red lens for the late evening, when the goal isn't comfort — it's not being wired at midnight.
What it is
A unisex acetate-frame pair of screen glasses in two lens options. Orange is the lighter, all-day tint: wearable in an office, colours still readable. Red is the heavy evening tint: it shifts everything warm and is meant for the last stretch of the night, not for a video call.
Same frame shape, same fit, non-prescription. You pick the tint that matches when you actually stare at screens.
How it works
A tinted lens filters part of the blue end of the visible spectrum before it reaches your eyes. The deeper the tint, the more it filters — which is the whole reason there are two versions rather than one compromise.
Here's the honest split. The strongest reasoning is for the evening: light at the blue end of the spectrum in the hours before bed is the signal your body reads as "still daytime," and cutting it late at night is a well-established idea in sleep hygiene. Whether tinted lenses meaningfully reduce daytime digital eye strain is genuinely debated — a lot of screen fatigue is about blinking less, screen distance and taking breaks. We'd rather tell you that than pretend the science is settled.
How to use it
- Pick your tint (30 seconds). Orange for daytime and work screens, red for the last two to three hours before bed.
- Put them on before the screen, not after (instant). Wearing them for the last ten minutes of the night doesn't do much — put them on when the evening screen session starts.
- Keep the rest of the habits (ongoing). Look away from the screen periodically and blink deliberately. The glasses don't replace either.
What's included
- 1 × unisex screen glasses — in Red (evening tint) or Orange (daytime tint)
Non-prescription lenses. One pair per order, so if you want both tints, order both.
Who this is NOT for
These are not prescription glasses and they will not correct your vision — if the screen is blurry, you need an optometrist. They are not medical devices, they don't treat headaches or migraines, and if you get frequent headaches you should have that looked at rather than tinted. The red lens badly distorts colour, so don't buy it if you edit photos, do design work, or drive at night in it. And if your screen fatigue is really about a bad monitor setup, a dry office and never taking breaks, glasses won't fix any of those.
Common questions
What's the difference between the red and the orange?
Depth of tint and therefore purpose. Orange is light enough for daytime and office use; red is a heavy evening tint for the last hours before bed and shifts colours noticeably.
Can I wear the red ones all day?
You can, but colours will be strongly warm-shifted and anything colour-critical becomes unusable. Orange is the all-day lens.
Do they work over contacts?
Yes — they're non-prescription lenses, so they sit fine over contacts. They won't fit over most prescription glasses.
Will these stop my eye strain?
We can't promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. Screen fatigue is mostly blinking, distance and breaks; the tint is one variable among several.
Are they unisex?
Yes, one frame shape and size in both tints. It's a mid-size rounded frame designed to suit most faces.
