It's worst at night, and you scratch in your sleep without deciding to.

You wake up to the same patch on the back of your hand, or the inside of an elbow, angrier than it was when you went to bed. You've got three half-used tubes in a drawer, and the routine has become: it flares, you panic-buy something, it settles, you forget, it flares again.

What it is

A thick skin-soothing cream in a jar, built around honey and colloidal oatmeal. It's a moisturiser, not a medicine — it goes on dry, itchy, irritated skin and stays there.

The full ingredient story is short and printed on the jar: organic honey, organic aloe vera, beeswax, almond oil and organic olive oil, and colloidal oatmeal.

How it works — a barrier that stays put

Dry, irritated skin has two problems at once: it's losing water it should be keeping, and it's uncomfortable enough that you keep touching it, which makes it worse.

This cream addresses the first directly. Beeswax and the oils form an occlusive layer that slows water loss from the skin's surface, and colloidal oatmeal is a long-standing skin protectant used precisely because it sits on skin and softens the feel of it. Honey and aloe carry moisture into that layer. It's a thick, non-cooling formula on purpose — nothing in it evaporates off in five minutes.

The second problem is the one you solve, by applying it consistently rather than only during a flare.

How to use it

  1. Start clean — 1 minute. Wash the area with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry. Don't rub it dry.
  2. Apply while slightly damp — 30 seconds. Scoop a small amount, warm it between your fingers, and press it into the skin rather than rubbing it in. Damp skin traps more moisture under the layer.
  3. Repeat, especially at night — twice daily. Morning and before bed, plus after every hand wash if that's where your problem area is. Consistency between flares matters more than volume during one.

What's included

  • 1 × jar of skin-soothing cream

Ingredients on the jar: organic honey, organic aloe vera, beeswax, almond oil and organic olive oil, colloidal oatmeal.

Who this is NOT for

Read this part first. This cream contains almond oil, which is a tree nut, plus honey and beeswax. If you have a nut allergy or a bee-product allergy, do not buy it.

It is also a moisturiser, and only a moisturiser. It does not treat, cure or heal any skin condition, and if you're managing a diagnosed condition, this is something you'd discuss with your doctor alongside whatever they've prescribed — not a replacement for it. If your skin is broken, weeping, infected or rapidly spreading, stop reading product pages and get it looked at.

And if you want something light and fast-absorbing under makeup, this isn't it. It's deliberately thick and it takes a minute to settle.

Common Questions

Does it sting on already-irritated skin?

There's nothing cooling or alcohol-based in it, which is usually what causes that sting — the label calls it non-cooling for exactly this reason. Patch test on a small area first if your skin is currently very reactive.

Is it greasy?

It's thick, and it's meant to be. Beeswax and oils are what make the layer last, and a cream that vanishes instantly isn't sitting on your skin doing its job. Use a small amount, press it in rather than rubbing, and give it a minute before you put on sleeves.

How often should I use it?

Twice a day as a baseline, and again after washing your hands if that's your problem area. The mistake most people make is only using it when things are bad; the useful version is using it when things are fine.

Can I use it on my face?

You can, though it's thick enough that most people prefer it at night. If you're acne-prone, patch test along the jawline for a few days before putting it anywhere near your whole face.

Is it safe for children?

Ask your paediatrician before using any new product on a child's skin, and never on a child with a nut or bee-product allergy. That's a conversation for someone who knows the child, not a product page.
