Disclaimer
Everything sold on DriveOn Standard is a general wellness product. Nothing here is a medical device, and nothing here is medical advice.
01 — Not medical devices
The products in this catalog are general wellness and comfort products. They are not medical devices, they have not been evaluated or approved by any medicines or medical-device regulator, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Where a product page describes what an item does, it describes a physical mechanism — applied warmth, applied cold, compression, pressure, light output, mechanical support — and what we observed during evaluation. It does not describe a therapeutic outcome and should not be read as one.
02 — Not medical advice
Nothing on this site, in our emails, or in our support correspondence is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not clinicians and we do not employ clinicians to answer customer questions.
We cannot tell you whether a product is appropriate for your condition, whether it is safe given your medications, or whether it should replace something a clinician has recommended. If you ask us those questions, we will decline them and point you back to this page — not to be unhelpful, but because a confident answer from us would be worth nothing and could be harmful.
03 — Speak to a clinician
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any product here if you:
- Have a diagnosed medical condition, or symptoms you have not had assessed
- Are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding
- Have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electronic device
- Have impaired sensation, circulatory problems, diabetes, or neuropathy — particularly relevant to heated, cooled, and compressive products, where reduced sensation makes injury harder to notice
- Have a skin condition, open wound, recent surgery, or recent injury at the site of use
- Take medication that affects sensation, blood pressure, blood clotting, or photosensitivity
- Are considering a product for a child
Never delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you read on this site. If you are experiencing severe, sudden, or worsening symptoms, contact emergency services.
04 — Use products as instructed
Follow the instructions supplied with each product, including stated wear times, temperature limits, session durations, and charging guidance. Longer is not better. Exceeding a stated wear time on a heated, cooled, or compressive product is the most common way people injure themselves with items in these categories.
Stop using a product immediately and seek advice if you experience pain, burning, numbness, tingling, persistent redness, blistering, skin discolouration, dizziness, or any other adverse effect.
05 — Results vary
Our evaluation records what we observed under a defined protocol over a defined window. It does not predict your experience. Comfort products interact with body size, fit, activity level, and circumstances, and two people using the same product correctly can reasonably report different results.
We do not publish before-and-after imagery, outcome statistics, or success rates, because we have no honest way to produce them.
06 — What our language means
We describe products using phrases such as "supports recovery", "helps you move easier", "helps you loosen up", and "post-workout comfort". These are comfort and wellness descriptions. They are not claims of medical benefit and are not to be read as implying treatment of any condition.
We do not use, and will not use, the words "treats", "cures", "heals", or "clinically proven" in connection with these products, because none of them would be true.
07 — Our evaluation is not a certification
The evaluation described at How We Evaluate is a commercial product assessment conducted in-house by a company that sells the products it approves. It is not an independent certification, not a regulatory approval, and not a substitute for either. We publish our criteria, our windows, and our failure rates so that our conclusions can be judged on their reasoning rather than accepted on authority we do not have.
08 — Ingredients and allergens
Check the full ingredient or material list on the product page before use, particularly for skin-contact products. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, patch-test first. We cannot guarantee a product is free of a given allergen beyond what the manufacturer discloses.
09 — Questions
